How to set up your board game store in 15 minutes

Getting your board game store set up on Acomplix is straightforward. Here's a quick walkthrough of the key steps — from creating your account to sharing your calendar with customers.

Step 1: Create your account

Head to acomplix.com/signup and fill in your store name, your preferred URL slug, and your admin credentials. Your store will immediately be available at acomplix.com/[your-slug]. No credit card required for the 14-day trial.

Choose your slug carefully — it's part of all your public URLs and can't be changed later. Keep it short and recognisable: dragons-lair or gamehaven are good examples.

Step 2: Fill in your store profile

Go to Admin → Store Profile and fill in your store name, tagline, description, and contact details. Add your Google Maps URL to embed a map on your profile page. Customers will land on this page first when they visit your store link.

Step 3: Add your tables

In Admin → Settings → Tables, add each physical table in your store. Give them descriptive names — "Tournament Table", "Casual Play 1" — so they're easy to identify in the calendar and when approving reservations.

Step 4: Set your hours

In Admin → Hours, set your opening and closing times for each day. The calendar grid adapts to your hours, and customers won't be able to request reservations outside them.

Step 5: Create your first event

Click any empty slot in the calendar, or go to Admin → Events → + New Event. For a recurring event like Friday Night Magic, set it to repeat weekly and choose a repeat-until date. All occurrences are created at once.

Step 6: Share your store

You now have three URLs ready to share:

  • Calendar: acomplix.com/[yourslug]/
  • Events: acomplix.com/[yourslug]/events.html
  • Profile: acomplix.com/[yourslug]/profile.html

Put these in your social media bio, your existing website, or print them as a QR code for your store window.

That's it. Most store owners are fully set up in under 15 minutes. For a more detailed walkthrough of each feature, see the full tutorial.
