Getting started with Acomplix

Follow this guide to set up your board game store from scratch. Takes about 15 minutes.

1 Create your account

Go to acomplix.com/signup and fill in your store details:

  • Store Name — your full store name as customers will see it.
  • Store URL — your unique slug, e.g. dragons-lair. Your store will be at acomplix.com/dragons-lair.
  • Admin username and password — your login credentials.
  • Email — where admin notifications will be sent.

After signing up, you'll land directly in your admin panel. You're on the Free plan — upgrade anytime from Admin → Settings → Manage billing.

Tip: Choose your slug carefully — it appears in all your shareable URLs and can't be changed after signup.

2 Set up your store profile

Go to Admin → Store Profile. Fill in:

  • Store Name and Tagline — shown on your public profile page.
  • Description — a short paragraph about your store.
  • Logo URL — link to your logo image (upload it to your website or use an image hosting service).
  • Address, phone, email, website — contact details for customers.
  • Google Maps URL — paste your Google Maps link to embed a map on your profile.

Click Save Profile. Then click Preview Profile → to see how your public page looks.

Tip: Add links to your Facebook page, WPN profile, or other platforms using the Profile Links section. These appear as cards on your public store page.

3 Configure your tables

Go to Admin → Settings → Tables. By default you have one table. Add all your tables:

  • Click Add Table, give it a name (e.g. "Table 1", "Tournament Table"), and set the number of seats.
  • Tables appear as columns in your calendar and as options when approving reservations.
  • You can add up to 5 tables on Free, 15 on Starter, and 50 on Pro.
Tip: Use descriptive names if your tables serve different purposes — e.g. "RPG Corner", "Tournament 1", "Casual Play".

4 Set your opening hours

Go to Admin → Hours. For each day of the week:

  • Check the Open checkbox to mark the day as open.
  • Set your opening and closing times using the dropdowns (30-minute slots).
  • Leave days unchecked to mark them as closed.

Click Save Hours. Your calendar grid will immediately reflect your new hours, and reservation requests outside these hours will be rejected.

5 Create your first event

Events appear publicly on your events page and in the calendar. Go to Admin → Events → + New Event or click any empty slot in the calendar.

  • Title and Type — name your event and choose its type (YGO, MTG, Board Games, etc.).
  • Tables — select which tables this event will use.
  • Date and time — set start and end times.
  • Repeat — choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly to create recurring events. Set a repeat-until date. Available on Starter and Pro.
  • Spot limit — set a maximum number of players per event.
  • Enable registration — let players register online with name and email. Set a deadline. Available on Pro plan.
Tip: For Friday Night Magic, create one event and set it to repeat Weekly with a repeat-until date at the end of your season. All occurrences are created at once.

6 Handle reservation requests

When a customer submits a table reservation through your calendar or events page:

  1. You receive an email notification at your admin email address (Starter and Pro plans).
  2. Go to Admin → Reservations to see pending requests.
  3. Click View to see the full details, then Approve or Decline.
  4. When approving, select which table(s) to assign. The customer receives an automatic confirmation email (Starter and Pro plans).
  5. If declined, the customer receives a decline notification.

Customers can also cancel their reservation using the link in their confirmation email (Starter and Pro). You'll be notified when they do.

7 Add your team

Go to Admin → Team → + Add Admin.

  • Owner role — full access to everything including Settings, Hours, Event Types, and Team management.
  • Staff role — can manage the calendar, events, and reservations. Cannot access settings or billing.

Staff members log in at acomplix.com/[yourslug]/admin.html with their own username and password.

Tip: Add your email address to your own admin account in Admin → Team → Edit so you receive admin notification emails.

8 Plan with the capacity overview

Go to Admin → Overview. The capacity overview shows how many tables are free at a selected time for each day of the week or month.

  • Switch between Week and Month view using the toggle.
  • Change the check time dropdown (default 18:00) to see capacity at any time of day.
  • Green = tables available, amber = filling up, red = full.
  • Click any day to open it in the calendar and see full details.
Tip: Use the month view at 18:00 to spot the best days to schedule your next tournament without clashing with existing reservations.

9 Share your store

Your store has three public URLs to share with customers:

  • Calendar: acomplix.com/[yourslug]/ — shows the live table calendar with events and available slots.
  • Events: acomplix.com/[yourslug]/events.html — lists all upcoming events with registration buttons.
  • Store Profile: acomplix.com/[yourslug]/profile.html — your store info, hours, contact, and links.

Share these links on your social media, in your store, or add them to your existing website. Customers can browse events, reserve tables, and register for tournaments without creating an account.
